This handcrafted work is approx. 10-1/2" wide by 33-1/3" long. The hem is hand stitched.
The same sweet design is at each end of the piece. The work is in good condition with a couple of the french knots around the neck of one of the young women needing restitching. Looking at the embroidery from the back it appears there were different stitchers. One design looks to be done by a beginner and most of the other design by a more experienced stitcher. There is a very small spot in the cloth that would most likely be removed with a hand washing.
